About the Role
The Communications, Marketing & Enrolments Officer provides exceptional support to the Director of Advancement & Community Engagement in the realisation of Hunter Valley Grammar School’s (HVGS) communication, enrolment and marketing strategy. The Communications, Marketing and Enrolments Officer implements effective systems to ensure deadlines are met for publications, manages whole school events, undertakes graphic design projects, engages broadly with a range of stakeholders across the community, and supports the Registrar with enrolment administration, including but not limited to Personal Tours.
Work Pattern – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4pm (including a 30-minute unpaid break).
Key Duties
- Act as the first point of contact for prospective parents and provide friendly and helpful responses to enquires made via phone, email or in-person, every time.
- Support the Registrar with enrolment administration, scholarships, on-boarding and off-boarding of students/families, and Personal Tours.
- Identify, assess, and respond to customer needs in an informative, courteous, and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and timely information to inquiries, customers, and visitors.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Canva, Adobe Suite)
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- Current Employee Working with Children Check.

The Classroom Teacher – Junior School is a proactive member within our Junior School and is engaged in providing a stimulating, engaging, evidence informed and holistic education to K-6 students.
Work Pattern – Teach the applicable full load of classes, Monday to Friday. All staff are expected to be on campus from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Key Duties
- Teach a K-6 class as Homeroom teacher, including 69 x30-minute curriculum lessons in the 90-lesson (two-week) cycle and assemblies, roll-call and pastoral time.
- Work as an effective member of the team, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive in providing an academically challenging, stimulating, and safe environment where students are enthused about learning.

About the Role
A Senior School Teacher at HVGS is a proactive member within our Senior School and is engaged in providing a stimulating, engaging, evidence-informed and holistic education to years 7-12 students. Having experience with the International Baccalaureate MYP, CP and/or DP courses would be highly desirable. This position is open to the full compliment of TAS teaching specialties (e.g. Engineering, computing, food technology, textiles, hospitality, etc.) with the ability to teach Computing subjects or Engineering Studies at a stage 6 level being highly desirable.
Work Pattern – Teach the applicable full load of classes across Stages 4 to 6, Monday to Friday. All staff are expected to be on campus from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The Specialist Music Teacher – Violin (SMT-V) casual position requires a professionally qualified and musically knowledgeable violin teacher with the ability to effectively teach and support students (beginner to highly advanced) from K-12 with a wide range of musical interests and abilities. This casual role will require the successful applicant to plan, prepare and implement appropriate teaching repertoire and resources, provide high quality, supportive feedback for student improvement, demonstrate and apply validated pedagogy and technique.
